1.
Never 05:04
Never give all the heart, for love Will hardly seem worth thinking of To passionate women if it seem Certain, and they never dream That it fades out from kiss to kiss; For everything that's lovely is But a brief, dreamy, kind delight. O never give the heart outright, For they, for all smooth lips can say, Have given their hearts up to the play. And who could play it well enough If deaf and dumb and blind with love? He that made this knows all the cost, For he gave all his heart and lost.

we had a good time we were having a good time - leave my mind alone - (DENIAL) I didn't ask for this 10 years of growing up 10 years of fucking up (and it never stops, never enough) LEAVE MY MIND ALONE
3.
Stepping into the light Studying chemistry in your eyes And all the books I've not written yet Like all the songs I constantly forget Won't change me, won't break me, nor bring me 'round It's only you, that can do what brings me back down Loneliness is a dress on a boy Like happiness & tenderness in a girl Is it safe to wish for everything for everyone And is it safe to feel what I feel for you And will it change me, or break me, or bring me 'round If it's only you, that can do what brings me back down Stepping into the light Stepping into the light Stepping into the light And all the books I've not written yet Like all the songs I constantly forget won't change me - won't change me won't change me, won't break me, nor bring me 'round It's only you, that can do what brings me back down

about

'After the front page came the epilogue' is the fourth chapter of 'a never ending tale' and marks the end of the first volume of this online album.

So that's it then; for whatever it's worth: 'I don't mind'. And to put it right: 'Never', revisiting W.B. Yeats. Time to announce 'The end of an era (but denying it)'. One day we'll get ready for 'Stepping into the light'.

about

half past sun Gent

“It is a swirling, kaleidoscopic mix of psychedelia, indie rock and electronica with a naggingly insistent edge that burrows in through your ears and then settles in your brain with no intention of leaving anytime soon.” - The Mad Mackeral

half past sun brings melancholic indie songs with a delicate electronic touch, when the hard and flat colours of the day shimmer and return to their soft glow.
